Overview

This consultation concerns ENTSOE-E's proposal for System Operation Regions (SOR) in accordance with Article 36(1) of the Regulation (EU) 2019/943 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 June 2019 on the internal market for electricity.

The regulation requires that ENTSO-E shall develop and submit by 5 January 2020 a proposal addressing the following questions:

  • Which TSOs, Bidding Zones, Bidding Zone borders, Capacity Calculation Regions and Outage Coordination Regions are in each SOR? (Regulation 2019/943 Art. 36(1))
  • How the coordination for borders adjacent to SOR will take place? (Regulation 2019/943 Art. 36(2))
