PRIVACY POLICY

For technical reasons, ENTSO-E website uses cookies to manage some features of the website, in particular to memorise chosen display options or settings for return visitors. It is possible to configure your browser to either accept or block cookies. Access to the ENTSO-E website will not be restricted or refused for users not accepting cookies.

During the registration process to participate to ENTSO-E consultations, you have to provide ENTSO-E with the following personal data: first name and last name, title, valid email address, phone number, company, position and industry, country.

Personal data collected by ENTSO-E shall be processed by ENTSO-E, International Non-Profit Association created under Belgian law, having its registered office at 1000 Brussels, Avenue de Cortenbergh, 100 (Belgium), acting as data controller and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and any applicable implementation rules on the protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data, for the following purposes:

  1. Creation and publication of a list of consultation participants (only for submissions not marked as “confidential”);

  2. Creation and publication of documents relating to the subject of the consultation process (only for submissions not marked as “confidential”);

  3. Creation of a contacts database which access is restricted to ENTSO-E and ENTSO-E Members;

  4. Information regarding the activities of ENTSO-E, in connection with the organisation of conferences, workshops or events, purpose to which you give your agreement by approving present privacy policy;

  5. Contacting you to request your consent for possible additional purposes of processing of your personal data, or for a renewed term of processing of your personal data.

By providing ENTSO-E with your personal data, you give ENTSO-E your express agreement to use the transmitted personal data for the above-mentioned purposes. The personal data transmitted to ENTSO-E are registered in a database held by and under the responsibility of ENTSO-E. These data will be used exclusively for the above-mentioned purposes, save express later disagreement from you concerning the purpose sub (iv) and sub (v). These data shall not be transmitted to any third party other than ENTSO-E members, which shall process the transmitted personal data solely for the above-mentioned purposes.

The collection and processing of your personal data is based

  • on your consent regarding purposes (iv), and (v). If you no longer wish ENTSO-E to further process your personal data for these purposes, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

  • on the performance by ENTSO-E of its legally mandated tasks, and/or the performance by the tasks carried out by ENTSO-E in the public interest, regarding the purposes (i), (ii) and (iii).

Your data shall be processed for a term of five years. However, the following specific terms of processing shall apply:

  • if appropriate for purposes (i) and (ii), your name and email address shall be processed for a term corresponding to the archiving term of the documents relating to the consultation process to which you participated. This latter may be longer than five years, depending on the needs of the legally mandated tasks carried out by ENTSO-E;

  • for purpose (iii), your personal data shall be processed for as long as reasonably justified for the the performance by ENTSO-E of its legally mandated tasks, and/or the performance by the tasks carried out by ENTSO-E in the public interest, which might be longer than five years.

Your personal data shall not be transmitted to any third party, except

  • ENTSO-E service providers in charge of the hosting and/or maintenance of the consultation tool and/or ENTSO-E database,

  • ENTSO-E Members for the purpose sub (i) sub (ii), and sub (iii),

  • any interested party for the purpose sub (i), sub (ii), within the limits of what is necessary to ensure the performance of ENTSO-E legally mandated tasks, and/or the performance of the tasks carried out by ENTSO-E in the public interest.

Your data are stored exclusively on servers located within European Union.

Upon request dated and signed sent by email to ENTSO-E (at the relevant email address mentioned on the consultation process website), and the proof of your identity, you may obtain, free of charge if it is a reasonable volume, the written communication of the data and the portability of the data, as well as, where appropriate, rectification, restriction of processing, deletion of those which are inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant. The application is considered as dismisses where no action has been taken on the application within 30 days of the request. You may apply to or lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (Rue de la presse 35, 1000 Brussels – commission@privacycommission.be - Tel. + 32 2 213 85 40 – Fax + 32 2 213 85 65) for the exercise of these rights.

If, at any time, you are of the opinion that ENTSO-E does not respect your privacy, please inform ENTSO-E by email privacy@entsoe.eu. ENTSO-E shall do everything to identify and solve the problem.

Delib Privacy Information

Delib’s software (this website) enables organisations to set up and operate democratic exercises, through which they will engage with you.

When you access and use this site, your information submitted to these exercises will go to the data controller: the organisation running this site. If you have provided it, this information may include personal data (e.g. your name, age, contact details etc.).

Delib’s role is to process this data on behalf of the controller. Processing means (among other things): making sure this website runs properly, that your data is securely stored and is available to the controller so that they can do their work effectively.

Our primary purpose is in making software platforms that help you to have your say. To do this we need to make sure that when you do, your data is safe, secure, and can be worked with effectively. So that’s what we do. Delib will not access your personal data unless requested to do so by the controller, and only for the purposes of helping them or you.

The data controller will have a privacy policy or other information notice, which sets out how they will hold and use the information you provide, as well as your rights in relation to that information. This policy or notice may be included on this page, or can be obtained by contacting them.

If you have any questions or requests about your personal data, these should be sent to the data controller in the first instance. Delib cannot directly deal with such enquiries as it does not control how your information is used.

Collection of Browser Information

Delib stores information which is provided by your computer when you use the website. For example, your browser type, IP address, language preference, referring site, and the date and time. Delib's purpose in collecting this information is to maintain the security of the website and for the purposes of operating and improving the software.
