Overview

This consultation concerns the Italy North CCR the Splitting long-term cross-zonal capacity for Italy North CCR in accordance with Article 16 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/1719 of 26 September 2016 establishing a Guideline on Forward Capacity Allocation (hereinafter “Splitting Methodology”).

Italy North TSOs plan to amend the Splitting Methodology for the Italy North CCR in order to optimize the distribution of the capacity between the yearly and monthly auctions. 

Why your views matter

TSOs of Italy North are seeking input and feedback from relevant stakeholders and market participants on our proposal for the first amendment of the Italy North CCR Splitting Methodology. This consultation is run in accordance with Article 6(12) FCA.

What happens next

Italy North TSOs will review the comments from stakeholders towards the finalisation of the proposal and the submission to the National Regulatory Authorities of the Region. If the NRAs agree amongs them, the new ratio would have been used for the next yearly computation of 2024.
