Regional proposal for capacity calculation methodology in accordance with Article 10(1) under the FCA Regulation for Baltic Capacity Calculation Region
Overview
This consultation concerns the All TSOs´ of the Baltic Capacity Calculation Region proposal for capacity calculation methodology in accordance with Article 10(1) of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/1719 of 26 September 2016 establishing a guideline on forward capacity allocation. This proposal is the concrete methodology for calculating capacity up to a year ahead, so-called long-term capacity calculation methodology (LT CCM).

We are seeking input from stakeholders and market participants on this proposal. TSOs of the Baltic CCR (Fingrid OYJ, Elering AS, AS "Augstsprieguma tīkls", Litgrid AB, Svenska kraftnät and Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne) are initiating this open online consultation. The proposal is consulted on in accordance with Article 6 of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 2016/1719 of 26 September 2016 establishing a guideline on forward capacity allocation (FCA).
What happens next
Baltic CCR TSOs will evaluate input and where relevant take it into account before submitting for NRA approval.
