Amended Day-Ahead and Intraday Capacity Calculation Methodology for the Nordic CCR
Overview
This consultation concerns the amendment of the Capacity Calculation Methodology for the Day-Ahead and Intraday timeframes in the Nordic CCR, as proposed by the TSOs of the Nordic CCR, being Energinet, Fingrid Oyj, and Svenska kraftnät. The amendment of the Capacity Calculation Methodology follows a Request for Amendment received on December 12 2018 from all NRAs of the Nordic Capacity Calculation Region, being the Danish Utility Regulator DUR, the Finnish Energy Authority Energiavirasto, and the Swedish Energy Markets Inspectorate EI.
Why your views matter
We are seeking input from stakeholders, market participants, and NEMOs on the amendments to the Capacity Calculation Methodology for the Day-Ahead and Intraday timeframes in the Nordic CCR. As the proposal is subject to consultation in accordance with Article 12 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a guideline on capacity allocation and congestion management, the TSOs of the Nordic CCR (Energinet, Fingrid Oyj, and Svenska kraftnät) are initiating this open on-line consultation for a period of five weeks.
What happens next
The objective of the public consultation is to collect the stakeholders’ views on the amended capacity calculation methodology proposal. After the public consultation, the Nordic TSOs will assess the comments received by the stakeholders and update the proposal.
