Nordic TSOs’ proposal for regional operational security coordination in CCR Nordic (SO GL article 76)

Overview

This consultation concerns the “All TSOs’ proposal of Nordic Capacity Calculation Region for regional operational security coordination in accordance with Article 76 and Article 77 of the “Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/1485 of 2 August 2017” establishing a guideline on electricity transmission system operation”. Article 76 of SO GL requires that all TSOs of each capacity calculation region shall jointly develop a common proposal regarding the regional operational security coordination, which shall comply with the requirements set forth in Article 76 and 77 of SOGL.

What happens next

The Nordic TSOs shall duly take into account the views of stakeholders resulting from the consultation and use them to prepare the final version of the document that will be submitted to the Nordic NRAs three months after approval of the methodology for coordinating operational security analyses in accordance with Article 75(1) of SOGL.

In all cases, a sound justification for including or not including the views resulting from the consultation shall be provided together with the submission of the proposal and published in a timely manner before, or simultaneously with the publication of the proposal for regional operational security coordination in CCR Nordic.
