Overview
As part of the TYNDP 2016 package ENTSO-E prepared six Regional Investment Plans covering all Europe. These reports are looking at power system development issues from a regional perspective accounting for their particularities and closely coordinated at European level.
The following six reports are put forward for consultation:
1. Regional Investment Plan North Sea
2. Regional Investment Plan Baltic Sea
3. Regional Investment Plan Continental Central East
4. Regional Investment Plan Continental Central South
Why your views matter
The Regional Investment Plans aim at identifying future investment needs and interconnection targets.
ENTSO-E is looking forward to hearing the stakeholders opinion on these key findings.
What happens next
After the end of the consultation ENTSO-E will finalse the list of TYNDP 2016 projects and will proceed to their assessment based on the EC approved Csot Benefit Analysis methodology and the defined TYNDP 2016 scenarios.
In addition ENTSO-E will update and further publish on its website the final six Regional Investment Plans. ENTSO-E will also consider the suggestions give to us to improving the TYNDP 2016 main report which will be published and consulted mid 2016.
