Overview

This consultation concerns the regional TSO’s proposal for the Long-term Capacity Calculation Methodology for the SWE CCR, in accordance with Article 10 of Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/1719 of 26 September 2016 establishing a guideline on forward capacity allocation. This proposal covers the Capacity Calculation Methodology for long-term time frames for the SWE CCR.

Why your views matter

We are seeking inputs and feedbacks from stakeholders, market participants, SWE NRAs and NEMOs on our proposal for the capacity calculation projects we plan to implement in the coming years. TSOs of the SWE Region (Redes Energéticas Nacionais (REN), Red Eléctrica de España (REE) and Réseau de transport d'électricité (RTE)) are initiating this open on-line consultation for a period of one month. The proposal is subject to consultation in accordance with Article 6 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/1719 of 26 September 2016 establishing a guideline on forward capacity allocation (FCA).

What happens next

The objective of the public consultation is to collect the stakeholders’ views on the long-term capacity calculation methodology proposal. After the public consultation, the SWE TSOs will assess the comments received by the stakeholders, update where relevant the proposal and/or the explanatory note and provide market parties with the assessment of their answers.

[Update May 19] As a result of the public consultation, SWE TSOs have updated the proposal and submitted it to SWE NRAs. In the related section of this page, a document compiling questions from the stakeholders and answers from the TSOs during the public consultation can be found.
