Methodology for splitting long-term cross-zonal capacity
Overview
This consultation concerns the regional TSO proposal for the Methodology for Splitting Long-Term Cross-Zonal Capacity for the Nordic CCR, in accordance with Article 16 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/1719 of 26 September 2016 establishing a guideline on forward capacity allocation.
Why your views matter
We are seeking input from stakeholders and market participants on the proposed Methodology for Splitting Long-Term Cross-Zonal Capacity for the Nordic CCR. As the proposal is subject to consultation in accordance with Article 6 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/1719 of 26 September 2016 establishing a guideline on forward capacity allocation, the TSOs of CCR Nordic (Energinet) are initiating this open on-line consultation for a period of one month. Energinet is the only TSO in the Nordic CCR that is subject to article 16 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/1719 of 26 September 2016 establishing a guideline on forward capacity allocation, which is the reason why the other TSOs of the Nordic CCR are not listed as initiating TSOs for this consultation.
What happens next
All stakeholders interested in the long-term capacity allocation and associated splitting rule for the Nordic CCR. This proposal will only be applied on the bidding zone border between bidding zones DK1 and DK2, as long as there is an exemption to issuing long-term transmission rights on the other bidding zone borders within the Nordic CCR.
