Public Consultation on the First Amendment of the Central Europe Day Ahead Capacity Calculation Methodology
Overview
This consultation concerns the CE CCR TSOs & iTCP proposal for the first amendment of the Day-Ahead Capacity Calculation Methodology of the Central Europe Capacity Calculation Region (CE DA CCM) in accordance with article 20ff. of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24th July 2015 establishing a guideline on Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management (CACM). Following the NRA decision on the CE DA CCM (17/09/2025), CE TSOs & iTCP are preparing the first amendment of the CE DA CCM for submission to NRAs by 17/07/2026, 18 months after the formal submission of the CE DA CCM, in parallel to the implementation track of CE DA CC by 15/01/2028.

We are seeking input and feedback from CE stakeholders, market participants, NRAs and NEMOs on our proposal for the first amendment of the CE DA CCM.
TSOs of the CE Capacity Calculation Region (50HERTZ, AMPRION, APG, CREOS, ČEPS, EIRGRID, ELES, ELIA, HOPS, MAVIR, PSE, RTE, SEPS, SONI, TENNET GMBH, TENNET BV, TERNA, TRANSELECTRICA, TRANSNETBW) & SWISSGRID are initiating this open online consultation on a draft proposal of the first amendment of the CE DA CCM in accordance with Article 12 of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a Guideline on Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management.
For information on the background, an explanatory document as well as a cover letter describing in more detail the proposed amendments to the CE DA CCM, are added to the proposal.
