Core CCR – Regional Design of long-term transmission rights based on Article 31 FCA Regulation; Third amendment
Overview
This consultation is based on Article 4(12) of Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/1719 (FCA Regulation) and concerns the proposed by Core TSOs’ third amendment of the CCR Core TSOs’ regional design of long-term transmission rights in accordance with Article 31 FCA Regulation. This Third amendment proposal covers the switch from physical transmission rights with use-it-or-sell-it principle (PTR UIOSI) to financial transmission rights (FTR Options) on the bidding zone borders AT-SI, CZ-DE/LU, CZ-SK, HU-SK, HU-RO, HR-HU, PL-CZ, PL-DE/LU, PL-SK and SI-HU. TSOs of the CCR Core are initiating this open online consultation for a period of not less than one month in accordance with Article 6(1) FCA Regulation.

What happens next
After the Consultation, Core TSOs will carefully analyse the received responses and assemble all views in a Consultation Report.
