Core CCR – Long-Term Capacity Calculation Methodology

Overview

This consultation is based on Article 10(1) of Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/1719 (FCA Regulation) and concerns the proposal for a common long-term capacity calculation methodology for the Core region.

Workshop announcement

Core TSOs will organize on 19/06 at ENTSO-e premises, Brussels, a public workshop to discuss this methodology, as well as Core TSO’s splitting long-term cross-zonal capacity, during their public consultation period. Market parties interested to participate in this workshop are invited to pre-align with Raluca Ionita <r.ionita@magnus.nl> (PMO support of Core TSOs).

Why your views matter

 We are seeking for input from stakeholders and market participants on this important feature of the future European electricity market. The Core TSOs are initiating this open on-line consultation for a period of one month. The proposal is subject to consultation in accordance with Article 6 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/1719 of 26 September 2016 establishing a guideline on forward capacity allocation (FCA).

What happens next

After the Consultation, Core TSOs will carefully analyse the received responses and assemble all views in a Consultation Report.
