Channel Region; FCA Regional Design of Long-Term Transmission Rights – Public Consultation
Overview
The consultation concerns the design of long-term regional design of long-term transmission rights for the Channel CCR with Article 31 of Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/1719 establishing a guideline on forward capacity calculation. This proposal covers the Channel CCRs for the regional design of long-term transmission rights for relevant TSOs within the said region.
Why your views matter
We are seeking input from stakeholders and market participants on this important feature of the future European electricity market. Regional TSOs are initiating this open on-line consultation for a period of not less than one month. The proposal shall be subject to consultation in accordance with Article 6 of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 2016/1719 of establishing a Guideline on Forward Capacity Allocation (FCA).
