Overview

This consultation concerns two regional TSO proposals for the establishment of fallback procedures in accordance with Article 44 of Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a guideline on capacity allocation and congestion management. These two proposals together cover fallback procedures for the HVDC interconnectors; IFA, BritNed, Moyle and EWIC.

Why your views matter

We are seeking input from stakeholders and market participants on this important feature of the future European electricity market.  Regional TSOs are initiating this open on-line consultation for a period of not less than one month.

The proposal shall be subject to consultation in accordance with Article 12 of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a Guideline on Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management (CACM).
