Public Consultation on the Central Europe Day Ahead Capacity Calculation Methodology
Overview
This consultation concerns the CE CCR TSOs & Swissgrid proposal for the Day-Ahead Capacity Calculation Methodology of the Central Europe Capacity Calculation Region (CE DA CCM) in accordance with article 20ff. of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24th July 2015 establishing a guideline on Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management (CACM). Based on the ACER decision on the amended CCR determination (19/03/24), CE CCR was established and CE TSOs & Swissgrid are currently preparing the CE DA CCM submission for January 2025 and its subsequent implementation.

We are seeking input and feedback from CE stakeholders, market participants, NRAs and NEMOs on our proposal for the CE DA CCM.
TSOs of the CE Capacity Calculation Region (50HERTZ, AMPRION, APG, CREOS, ČEPS, ELES, ELIA, HOPS, MAVIR, PSE, RTE, SEPS, TENNET GMBH, TENNET BV, TERNA, TRANSELECTRICA, TRANSNETBW) & SWISSGRID are initiating this open online consultation on a draft of the CE DA CCM Proposal in accordance with Article 12 of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a Guideline on Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management.
For information on the background, an Explanatory Note as well as a cover letter describing in more detail the proposed CE DA CCM, are added to the proposal.
