All TSOs proposal on definition of the capacity calculation regions

Overview

This consultation concerns the determination of capacity calculation regions as defined in accordance with Article 15(1) of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a Guideline on Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management.

On 5 June 2020, ACER’s Director sent a request to the TSOs inviting all TSOs to prepare an updated CCRs proposal and formally submit it to ACER for approval, while TSOs agreed to fulfil this request.

This CCRs proposal includes the previous changes in CCR determinations (the status quo situation), namely ACER Decision 06/2016, all NRAs CCR Decision 2017 and ACER Decision 04/2019. TSOs are aware that additional changes might arise in upcoming year(s), however, not all of them are incorporated in consulted proposal and will be tackled separately through new amendment processes.
