Capacity Calculation Region Hansa’s proposal for regional design of long-term transmission rights

Overview

This consultation concerns the regional TSO proposal for the regional design of long-term transmission rights in accordance with Article 31 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1719 of 26 September 2016 establishing a guideline on forward capacity allocation. This proposal covers the borders for Capacity Calculation Region Hansa.

Why your views matter

We are seeking input from stakeholders, market participants and NEMOs on this important feature of the day ahead electricity market. TSOs of the CCR Hansa Region are initiating this open on-line consultation. The proposal is consulted in accordance with Article 6 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1719 of 26 September 2016 establishing a guideline on forward capacity allocation. The consultation is exceptionally extended to six weeks to give the market participant a fair chance to provide input during the holiday season.

The objective of the public consultation is to collect the stakeholders’ views on the capacity calculation methodology proposal. After the public consultation, the SWE TSOs will assess the comments received by the stakeholders, update where relevant the proposal and/or the explanatory note and provide market parties with the assessment of their answers
