Overview

This consultation concerns the regional TSO proposal for the Capacity Calculation Methodology for the SWE CCR, in accordance with Article 20 of Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a guideline on capacity allocation and congestion management. This proposal covers the Capacity Calculation Methodology for both the Day-ahead and Intraday timeframes for the SWE CCR.

Why your views matter

We are seeking inputs and feedbacks from stakeholders, market participants, SWE NRAs and NEMOs on our proposal for the capacity calculation projects we plan to implement in the coming years. TSOs of the SWE Region (Redes Energéticas Nacionais (REN), Red Eléctrica de España (REE) and Réseau de transport d'électricité (RTE)) are initiating this open on-line consultation for a period of one month. The proposal is subject to consultation in accordance with Article 12 of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a Guideline on Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management (CACM).

What happens next

The objective of the public consultation is to collect the stakeholders’ views on the capacity calculation methodology proposal. After the public consultation, the SWE TSOs will assess the comments received by the stakeholders, update where relevant the proposal and/or the explanatory note and provide market parties with the assessment of their answers
