Greece-Italy TSOs’ proposal on the day-ahead and intraday common capacity calculation methodology
Overview
This consultation concerns the regional TSOs’ proposal of common capacity calculation methodology for the day-ahead and intraday market timeframe in accordance with Article 21 of Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a guideline on capacity allocation and congestion management (CACM Regulation). This proposal is amending the methodology approved by Greece-Italy NRAs on 12/07/2018 by considering the provisions of the Commission Regulation (EC) 2019/943 of 5 June 2019. The TSOs of CCR Greece-Italy are going to submit the proposal by 30/06/2020.
Why your views matter
We are seeking input from stakeholders and market participants on this important feature. TSOs from the Greece-Italy Capacity Calculation Region (TERNA and ADMIE) are initiating this open on-line consultation for a period of not less than one month. The proposal shall be subject to consultation in accordance with Article 12 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a Guideline on Capacity Calculation and Congestion Management (CACM). For information purposes, an Explanatory Note describing in more detail the proposed methodology is added as well.
What happens next
The objective of the public consultation is to collect the stakeholders’ views on the capacity calculation methodology proposal. After the public consultation, the Greece-Italy TSOs will assess the comments received by the stakeholders and update the proposal.
