Overview

This consultation concerns the regional TSO proposal for the Balancing Timeframe Capacity Calculation Methodology, in accordance with Article 37 of Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/2195 of 23 November 2017 establishing a guideline on electricity balancing. This proposal covers the Capacity Calculation Methodology for the Balancing Timeframe for the Baltic Capacity Calculation Region.

Why your views matter

We are seeking input and feedback from stakeholders, market participants, and NRAs on our proposal for the Balancing Timeframe Capacity Calculation Methodology of the Baltic Capacity Calculation Region. TSOs of the Baltic CCR (AST, Elering, Litgrid, PSE, Fingrid, Svenska kraftnät) are initiating this open online consultation for a period of not less than one month. The proposal shall be subject to consultation in accordance with Article 10 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/2195 of 23 November 2017 establishing a guideline on electricity balancing.

What happens next

Baltic CCR TSOs will evaluate the feedback provided during public consultation and will take this into account when preparing capacity calculation methodology proposal.
