Baltic CCR Report assessing the progressive coordination and harmonisation of mechanisms and agreements for redispatching and countertrading in accordance with EU Regulation 1222/2015 article 35(3)
Overview
This consultation concerns the regional TSOs’ report assessing the progressive coordination and harmonisation of mechanisms and agreements for redispatching and countertrading in accordance with Article 35(3) of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a guideline on capacity allocation and congestion management (CACM Regulation). The methodology for coordination of redispatching and countertrading following Article 35 of CACM Regulation is not yet implemented by the TSOs of the Baltic CCR, however CACM Regulation requires TSOs to provide this report by 26 months after approval of CCRs and not a certain time period after approval or/and implementation of the said methodology.
Why your views matter
We are seeking input from stakeholders and market participants on this important feature. TSOs from the Baltic CCR are initiating this open on-line consultation for a period of not less than one month. The proposal shall be subject to consultation in accordance with Article 12 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a Guideline on Capacity Calculation and Congestion Management (CACM).
What happens next
The objective of the public consultation is to collect the stakeholders’ views on the report. After the public consultation, the TSOs from Baltic CCR will assess the comments received by the stakeholders and update the report if required. Finalised report will be submitted to Baltic CCR NRAs for assessment.
