Overview

The consultation concerns the Baltic Capacity Calculation Region (CCR) TSOs' proposal for fallback procedures in accordance with Article 44 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a Guideline on Capacity Calculation and Congestion Management (CACM Regulation). This proposal covers fallback procedures for the Baltic CCR region.
 

Why your views matter

We are seeking input from stakeholders and market participants on this important feature of the future European electricity market. TSOs of the Baltic CCR region (AS Elering, AS “Augstsprieguma tikls”, Litgrid AB, PSE S.A., Svenska Kraftnät, Fingrid Oyj) are initiating this open online consultation for a period of not less than one month. The proposal is subject to consultation in accordance with Article 12 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a Guideline on Capacity Calculation and Congestion Management (CACM Regulation).

What happens next

The Baltic CCR TSOs' have amended the fallback procedures proposal for the Baltic CCR region taking into account the responses received during public consultation. The fallback procedure public consultation results summary is provided below as well as the final version of Fallback procedure proposal. Baltic CCR TSOs have submitted the fallback procedure to the respective NRAs for approval.
