Amended Day-Ahead and Intraday Capacity Calculation Methodology for the Nordic CCR

Overview

This consultation concerns an amendment of the Capacity Calculation Methodology for the Day-Ahead and Intraday timeframes in the Nordic CCR, as proposed by the TSOs of the Nordic CCR, being Energinet, Fingrid Oyj, Statnett, and Svenska kraftnät. This amendment fully replaces all earlier legal documents.

With regard to the amendment, the Nordic TSOs will organize a stakeholder meeting in the middle of the public consultation: Thursday Feb 26, 9.00-10.30, online (Teams) meeting. It is not needed to register for this meeting. Link to the meeting.

Why your views matter

We are seeking input from stakeholders, market participants, and NEMOs on the amendments to the Capacity Calculation Methodology for the Day-Ahead and Intraday timeframes in the Nordic CCR. As the proposal is subject to consultation in accordance with Article 12 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a guideline on capacity allocation and congestion management, the TSOs of the Nordic CCR (Energinet, Fingrid Oyj, Statnett, and Svenska kraftnät) are initiating this open on-line consultation for a period of 5 weeks.
