Overview

This consultation concerns the 2nd amendment proposal to the determination of the forecasted market value of cross-zonal capacity for the exchange of energy in single day-ahead coupling – especially mark-up methodology – for the Nordic CCR in accordance with Article 6(4) of ACER decision No 22/2020 of 5 August 2020. The proposal has been prepared by the Nordic TSOs being Energinet, Fingrid Oyj, Svenska kraftnät and Statnett SF.

Why your views matter

The Nordic TSOs are seeking input from stakeholders and market on the determination of the forecasted market value of cross-zonal capacity for the exchange of energy in single day-ahead coupling. As the proposal is subject to consultation in accordance with Article 6 of EB Regulation, the Nordic TSOs are initiating this open on-line consultation for a period of one month.

The date for the stakeholder webinar will be announced on local Nordic TSO websites after 25 April.

What happens next

The objective of the public consultation is to collect the stakeholders’ views on the determination of the forecasted market value of cross-zonal capacity for the exchange of energy in single day-ahead coupling for the Nordic CCR. After the public consultation, the Nordic TSOs will assess the comments received from the stakeholders, finalize the amendment proposal and submit it to relevant NRAs for approval.
